Winery Peter Sölva in Caldaro is one of the oldest wine estates in South Tyrol, with a family winemaking tradition dating back to 1731. Surrounded by the vineyards of Lake Caldaro, the Überetsch region and the South Tyrolean lowlands, the estate produces wines with a strong sense of origin and a distinctive character. Tradition and innovation go hand in hand, while old vines, careful soil management and a respectful approach to nature form the foundation of authentic South Tyrolean quality.
The two wine collections, DeSilva and Amistar, each tell a unique chapter of the family’s story. DeSilva represents old, deep-rooted vineyards and wines that reflect the character of their terroir, while Amistar stands for carefully crafted cuvées with a special family heritage and distinctive style. In the cellar, patience plays a key role. Given the time they need to develop, the wines emerge with personality, depth and a remarkable sense of expression.
