Span Apiary
Out of a passion for bees and respect for nature, high-quality honey with true Alpine character is produced in Tyrol’s Stubai Valley. The Span family cares for over 100 bee colonies in a largely untouched mountain landscape.
What began in 1965 with just a few straw baskets has grown over the decades into a sustainable, family-run apiary. With patience, skill and foresight, the bee population has been built up slowly – entirely without purchasing outside colonies. You can taste this care and deep connection to the region in every single jar. Honey from the Span apiary is a true delicacy from the heart of the Stubai Alps – pure, regional and made with love.
