This Cuvée Bianco Amistar from Peter Sölva Winery belongs to the characterful Amistar range, which stands for selected vineyard sites, ripe grape material and a distinctive South Tyrolean style. The grapes come from sunny sites around Caldaro and Appiano Monte, where sandy, gravelly and loamy limestone soils give the wine freshness, minerality and structure.
The 2022 vintage is composed of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. The Chardonnay is aged in barrique, while the Sauvignon Blanc matures on the fine lees in stainless steel. This combines creamy richness with lively freshness. In the glass, it reveals intense aromas of exotic fruits, pineapple, mango, citrus and delicate vanilla notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied, elegant and harmonious, with mineral drive, well-integrated acidity and a long finish.

Winery Peter Sölva
Winery Peter Sölva in Caldaro is one of the oldest wine estates in South Tyrol, with a family winemaking tradition dating back to 1731. Surrounded by the vineyards of Lake Caldaro, the Überetsch region and the South Tyrolean lowlands, the estate produces wines with a strong sense of origin and a distinctive character. Tradition and innovation go hand in hand, while old vines, careful soil management and a respectful approach to nature form the foundation of authentic South Tyrolean quality.
The two wine collections, DeSilva and Amistar, each tell a unique chapter of the family’s story. DeSilva represents old, deep-rooted vineyards and wines that reflect the character of their terroir, while Amistar stands for carefully crafted cuvées with a special family heritage and distinctive style. In the cellar, patience plays a key role. Given the time they need to develop, the wines emerge with personality, depth and a remarkable sense of expression.
