This Kalterersee Classico Superiore Per Sé from Elena Walch Winery is a modern interpretation of a South Tyrolean classic. Made from a selection of the finest Vernatsch grapes, it combines tradition with a spirit of renewal and shows the hearty, youthful and sociable side of this historic grape variety.
In the glass, it displays a fresh ruby-red color. On the nose, it reveals an elegant fruity bouquet of sour cherries and violets, accompanied by white pepper and a touch of dark chocolate. On the palate, fine-grained tannins and a fresh structure define the wine, making it light-footed, appealing and full of character.
