This Zweigelt Tradition Holzfassgereift from Winery Anton Eitzinger showcases the more mature, structured side of this Austrian red grape variety. Ageing in large wooden barrels gives it depth and composure without masking the typical Zweigelt fruit.
The nose is enticing, with dark heart-cherry aromas, delicate chocolate and subtle toasted notes. On the palate, the wine is harmoniously structured, with fine spice, silky tannins and a smooth texture. The charming, elegant finish completes the tasting experience and makes this a red wine that is both approachable and serious enough for special moments of enjoyment.
