This Novis Kalterersee from Ritterhof Winery is a classic South Tyrolean red wine made from the indigenous Vernatsch grape variety. The grapes are grown in the traditional Kalterersee vineyards around Caldaro on warm, sandy gravel and moraine soils at elevations of around 300 to 450 meters above sea level.
In the glass, it displays a ruby-red color with violet reflections. On the nose, it reveals delicate aromas of ripe cherries, almonds and violets. On the palate, it is fresh and juicy, with an elegant yet expressive structure, beautiful balance and a harmonious finish. Its approachable and lively character makes it a versatile wine for almost any occasion.
