This Roner Gentian is an original gentian distillate from Tramin on the South Tyrolean Wine Road. Following an old tradition, the gentian roots are fermented and then gently distilled in small copper stills using a water bath. Thanks to one year of maturation in stainless steel, this distillate preserves its clear, typical character and unmistakable aromatic profile.
In the glass, this gentian schnapps appears clear and brilliant. On the nose, it is strong, typical and intense, with woody and earthy notes as well as herbal aromas. On the palate, it is floral, slightly woody and aromatic, accompanied by a subtle sweetness. The finish is dry, typical and very long-lasting.
