TER Lignum Whisky by Roner
This exquisite malt blend whisky is the result of a collaboration between two of South Tyrol’s most renowned houses. The FORST specialty brewery created, brewed, and fermented the malt blend, while the Roner distillery transformed it into whisky following the time-honored traditions of the distiller’s craft.
TER Lignum owes its remarkable depth of flavor to careful aging in barrels made from three native South Tyrolean woods — cherry, oak, and larch — each contributing its distinct character to this unique whisky. After distillation at the prestigious Roner distillery, the whisky is refined to drinking strength with exceptionally soft FORST brewing water.
The result is a deep amber whisky with elegant reddish reflections. Its aromatic profile spans from delicate malt notes and ripe plums to a bold, smoky undertone. On the palate, TER Lignum unfolds with a rich, complex, and fruity sweetness, rounded off by hints of vanilla and coconut. The finish lingers long, combining bittersweet chocolate with fresh mint nuances.
