This Roner TER Lignum Whisky is an exquisite Malt Blend Whisky from South Tyrol, combining the expertise of two traditional producers. The FORST specialty brewery creates, brews and ferments the Fort Malt Blend, while the whisky is distilled at the Roner distillery according to traditional distilling craftsmanship. The result is a distinctive whisky with South Tyrolean character and exceptional depth.
Its remarkable depth of flavour comes from careful maturation in casks made from three native South Tyrolean woods: cherry, oak and larch. Each wood contributes its own characteristic influence, giving this whisky its unique personality. After distillation at the renowned Roner distillery, the drinking strength is adjusted using particularly soft FORST brewing water.
In the glass, TER Lignum shows a deep amber colour with elegant reddish reflections. On the nose, it reveals a complex aromatic profile with fine malty notes, ripe plum and a bold smoky undertone. On the palate, it is powerful, complex and fruit-sweet, rounded off by notes of vanilla and coconut. The finish is long-lasting and marked by dark chocolate and fresh mint nuances.
