Swiss Stone Pine Spirit

This Tyrolean Stone Pine Spirit is an exceptional speciality with the unmistakable character of Tyrol’s wild high-Alpine mountain landscape. Its bold, fresh bouquet and delicate resinous note give it a powerful, clear, and distinctly Alpine flavour.

To produce the stone pine macerate, three to four stone pine cones per litre of alcohol are cut into small slices and carefully steeped in alcohol. During a maceration period of five to six weeks, the characteristic aromas and flavours of the stone pine are gently transferred into the alcohol.

The macerate is then gently distilled. The result is a crystal-clear Stone Pine Spirit – also known regionally as “Zirbinger” – with an unmistakably bold stone pine flavour and a pleasantly resinous note.
