This Zirbenspitz is a fine Swiss stone pine spirit, made from the ripe cones of the Swiss stone pine – known as “Cirmolo” in South Tyrol. The cones come from the high alpine regions of South Tyrol and give this special pine cone schnapps, as it is called in its homeland, its distinctive character while bringing the pure nature of the Alps directly into the glass.
Its unmistakable character combines resinous, slightly bitter and balsamic notes with a refreshing spiciness. This creates an intense yet harmonious drinking experience that is typical of a high-quality Swiss stone pine schnapps.
